BH-01: Bone conduction headphones!

XP introduces you to the first bone conduction headset designed for metal detection, the BH-01 . Made in France by XP, it is waterproof IP68 - 20m to allow you to dive with your DEUS II or to use your detector in very noisy environments.

Why Bone Conduction Headphones?

As the ear fills with water, hearing is often degraded underwater with ordinary waterproof helmets. The BH-01 is positioned in front of the ears on the cheekbones and transmits sound to the inner ear directly through vibrations applied to the bones, without stressing the eardrums. Your ears are free.

In murky or noisy waters, you can dive with earplugs to avoid infection or simply to better isolate yourself from noise. You will hear bone conduction sound perfectly while protecting your ears.

Caution: Only use special earplugs suitable for diving and allowing pressure equalization. Never use standard plugs that are dangerous for the ear canal while diving.

It is also possible for you to use this helmet on land with the privilege of being able to listen to your environment or, on the contrary, to isolate yourself from noisy environments always using earplugs.

The BH-01 further allows the hearing impaired to feel the vibrations generated by the targets towards the cochlea, or just the vibrations depending on the type of impairment in the auditory system. Adjusting the audio frequencies towards low frequencies (100 to 300Hz) may, depending on the disorder, further improve perception.
